GFPmut3b
GFP mut3b is a green fluorescent protein which will be used as a reporter for the characterization of our promoters Pasp, pMAV and pSHAB (BBa_K3612014, BBa_K3612013, BBa_K3612012) in the organism Pseudoalteromonas nigrifaciens.

Usage and Biology
The green fluorescent protein (GFP) is a protein of 238 amino acids (26.9 kDa) that exhibits fluorescence when exposed to light. It was first isolated from the jellyfish Aequorea victoria and is widely used as a reporter of the production of a broad range of proteins within biological systems. It can be mutated to regulate its stability or fluorescence. Our team will use GFP mut3b to characterize our three new promoters. (1)
